This new Skills Bootcamp has been designed to directly respond to Social Housing provider requirements for multi-skilled staff who can efficiently undertake a range of maintenance tasks for their housing stock.
On 4 September 2024 Truro and Penwith College will be launching the Skills Bootcamp in Property Maintenance, with a taster session in the morning to provide an opportunity to meet with the tutors, take part in activities to get a better understanding of the content and study requirements of the full taught programme content, learn about the benefits of becoming an adult learner at Truro and Penwith College and meet with trained Guidance Officers to discuss career aspirations and any additional support or accessibility requirements.
The Skills Bootcamp will then run for eleven weeks and learners will study a range of subjects that will enable aspiring leaders and managers to develop their career in the Construction and Property Maintenance sectors and prepare for progression onto further studies or an Apprenticeship.
