This Skills Bootcamp is aimed at employees within the Health and Social Care sectors and develops clinical knowledge and skills aligned to National Occupational Standards to facilitate career or learning progression; with common core units and specialist pathways for Social Care.

Truro and Penwith College has collaborated with Kernow Health’s Primary Care Training Hub, Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Royal Cornwall Hospital Trust, Health and Care Academy and the Independent Care Board to co-develop an innovative Skills Bootcamp covering core clinical skills and competencies for existing Health and Social Care sector employees who are looking to develop into clinical roles or educational pathways.

This thirteen-week Skills Bootcamp will start on 16 September and will enable learners to access career progression, with previous Skills Bootcamp students moving into Senior Health Care or Clinical roles, or prepare them for an Apprenticeship or further study.
