    This 10-week Coaching and Mentoring Skills Bootcamp, aligned to Level 3, is designed to equip healthcare professionals with essential coaching, mentoring, and leadership skills that are immediately applicable within their place of employment. Delivery will be contextualised using real-world challenges and lived experience from the healthcare sector, allowing participants to apply theory to practice immediately.

    • Introduction to coaching and mentoring in a healthcare context, including key principles and ethical considerations
    • Foundations of leadership, including styles and behaviours relevant to healthcare teams
    • Use of coaching models and frameworks (e.g. GROW) to support staff development
    • Development of key communication skills, such as active listening, effective questioning, and giving feedback
    • Techniques for motivating and engaging teams within healthcare environments
    • Goal setting and action planning to support individual and team performance
    • Understanding the role and responsibilities of a mentor in healthcare
    • Strategies for managing challenges, including performance issues and difficult conversations
    • Using coaching to support staff wellbeing and resilience
    • Integrating coaching and mentoring into daily practice to strengthen team dynamics and leadership culture
    • Final reflection and development of a personal action plan for applying learning in the workplace
