View detailsThis Skills Bootcamp will provide you with an introduction to the practical skills in a range of trade occupations within the construction industry. These will include:
– Basic Bricklaying
– Basic Carpentry
– Introduction to Plastering
– Small Scale Building Repairs
– Introduction to Painting and DecoratingCompletion of this Skills Bootcamp is designed to lead into further training and employment as a bricklayer, carpenter, plaster, painter/decorator or in property maintenance.
You will also have the opportunity to achieve the Entry Level CSCS card.

View detailsThis Occupational Works Supervision Skills Bootcamp has been created for individuals who are construction trades team leaders, assistant supervisors, supervisors on SSSTS certification seeking to upskill onto a Level 3 NVQ supervision qualification and gain a Gold CSCS Supervisory card within the Devon area.
This pathway allows you more flexibility to train during evenings and weekends with the knowledge / theory part of the training being delivered remotely. This allows you to login via video conferencing software like Zoom or Microsoft Teams to a live tutor from the comfort of your own home!
What is included in this training?
- Level 1 H&S in a construction environment course prep and assessment (including re-sit)
- CITB Test
- CSCS Card x 2 prior to completion of NVQ and on completion of NVQ Level 3
- Registration onto a NOCN NVQ Level 3 in Occupational Work Supervision
To qualify for the level 3 Supervision Bootcamp, learners are required to:
- Live within the Devon region and be 19+ years old
- Have experience in construction, either with a Level 2 trade qualification or with similar hands-on experience, with extra responsibilities such as acting as a team leader, supporting a qualified supervisor or a site manager or currently holding an SSSTS certificate and are looking to qualify for a Gold CSCS Supervisors card.
